Midge’s notoriety as the frontman for Ultravox, writer and producer of the landmark 1984 benefit single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?,” and co-organizer of Band Aid and Live Aid only begins to document his decades-long accomplishments in music. At City Winery, Midge will be performing acoustic versions of his catalog as well as taking questions and song requests from the audience.

City Winery is located at 1200 W Randolph Street 60607. Click here for tickets to this 21+ show.

Clarence Ewing: The Million Year Trip writesCHIRP Radio Welcomes Your Smith to Schubas on Wednesday Jan. 22

Minneapolis and L.A. styles combine on Wednesday, January 22nd as CHIRP Radio welcomesYour Smith to a sold out 18+ show at Schubas tavern.

"Minneapolis native Your Smith (aka Caroline Smith), relocated to Los Angeles after signing to Pulse Recording (DRAM, Miike Snow, Gallant, et. al). Inspired by the history of Laurel Canyon and moving through a city that’s been immortalized in music throughout the ages, Smith concocted her own sound, bringing together the funk / R&B 'Minneapolis Sound' of her roots and the classic songwriting of the LA folk heroes."

Auckland, New Zealand native and self-described "art school dropout" Chelsea Jade will also take the stage. Doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8:00pm. Click here for event details.
