Martin Courtney is best known as the lead singer for Real Estate, but his self-titled solo project brought him to Schubas in February and will bring him back to Chicago for the 2016 Pitchfork Music Festival. Dylan Peterson talked with Courtney about spending time in Chicago to record an album at the Wilco loft, trying to not upset Mikal Cronin with his album name, and the most nappable PBS shows.
