This is a story by playwright Barrie Cole, for our show First Move. Her latest play, "Elevator Tours," which had its premiere in January of this year, was called an "unmitigated triumph of perversity" by Tony Adler of the Chicago Reader. Active in Chicago’s live lit community, Barrie has read and performed her work at Story Sessions, Essay Fiesta, Write Club, Guts and Glory, Fillet of Solo, That's All She Wrote, Looking for Love, and others. She is also working on a forthcoming short story collection.
