CHIRP Radio is psyched to be a part of Green Music Fest 2011 happening this Saturday June 25th and Sunday June 26th in Wicker Park!

This street festival features an eco-friendly vendor village offering arts and crafts, local services, art, and food. There’s also going to be an outstanding lineup of bands, including Les Savy Fav, The Thermals, Trampled by Turtles, and Yo la Tengo!

The festival runs from noon to 10:00pm on both days. See you there!

It’s the third Monday of the month, and that means CHIRP and the Whistler have concocted a great set of music and cocktails for you this fine evening! Tonight’s lineup stars Male and Colorlist, as well as the DJ skills of CHIRP’s own Michael Flavor. Oh, and did we mention that we’ll be raffling off passes to Pitchfork Festival? No, sir or ma’am, that ain’t a typo. It’s a total steal, if you consider that there’s no cover to get in! See you there.

We’re not sure what that means, but it translates into a delicious improv-based soundscape best enjoyed with one of the Whistler’s esteemed cocktails. A percentage of bar sales benefits CHIRP Radio (as if you needed another reason), and there will be a raffle with prizes so you could win win win!
