Clarence Ewing: The Million Year Trip writesThis Week with CHIRP Radio (Week of June 20, 2011)

  • Monday, June 20

Head to the Whistler to see Male and Colorist weave their special webs of creative electro-noise-jazz. We’re not sure what that means, but it translates into a delicious improv-based soundscape best enjoyed with one of the Whistler’s esteemed cocktails. A percentage of bar sales benefits CHIRP Radio (as if you needed another reason), and there will be a raffle with prizes so you could win win win! Plus a few of our own CHIRP DJs will be making a special appearance to spin between sets.

    The Whistler / 2421 N. Milwaukee Ave. / 9:30pm / No cover / 21+

Chirp Radio, in partnership with Logan Square volunteers, presents Summer Sessions on the Square with L’Orchestre Super Vitesse and Thin Hymns! This is the first of a series of four outdoor summertime concerts to be held in the neighborhood – come on out and enjoy the weather and the great music!
