In Illinois, any registered voter can vote by mail for any reason. If you're concerned about the post office situation, in Chicago, you can securely drop off your mail-in ballot at any early voting location. Fran Hoepfner is a writer and comedian from Chicago. She has written both pop culture criticism and personal essays for The AV Club, Brooklyn Magazine, Buzzfeed, Cosmopolitan, and Jezebel, among several others. She can be seen performing stand-up around the city, most notably as a resident of the monthly Bell Hop showcase with Ian Abramson at the Virgin Hotel. She currently works as the Digital Editor at The Onion.
Carly Oishi is the co-producer of Miss Spoken, a lady live lit show that happens the last Wednesday of the month at The Gallery Cabaret. She's also the former co-producer of Solo in the 2nd City, holds a 5-1 record at Write Club and was named "Wise Woman of the Week" by WBEZ affiliate Vocalo. Currently, she's working on a collection of essays, due out in May of 2017 with CCLaP Publishing.
Anne Elizabeth Moore is an award-winning journalist, best-selling comics anthologist, and Fulbright scholar born in Winner, South Dakota. Her writing has appeared in The Baffler, Al Jazeera, Salon, Wilson Quarterly, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Onion, Tin House, and Truthout. She is the former editor of Punk Planet and the Best American Comics. Her art has appeared in solo exhibitions at the MCA, in the Whitney Biennial, and in solo shows on three continents. She is the author of Unmarketable, Cambodian Grrrl, and the upcoming collection of comics journalism, Threadbare: Sex, Clothes, and Trafficking. Her two cats live in Chicago, where she teaches at the School of the Art Institute.
