Nik is a fresh face at the station as he carries his post turn of the century music taste with him onto the CHIRP airwaves. Nik's main music taste is indie rock but he holds a special place for riot grrrl, avant-garde jazz, 90s hip-hop, among many other styles. Join him each week as he floods your gut with a diverse array of sounds. The show is indie rock-based but join him for his themed shows 2-3 times a month exploring his favorites of other genres. Outside of CHIRP, Nik is a full-time student at DePaul University double-majoring in Theatre Technology and Public Policy with a minor in Management. He can play most wind instruments, is pretty good at bowling, and is an advocate for sustainable theatre.
