I'm a former author and journalist (bylines at Grantland, Wired, Slate, Deadspin and 538) turned documentary filmmaker. As a native Texan I also spent about a decade as a music and entertinament writer at the Austin Chronicle. And as a Chicago transplant I still cannot acclimate to the cold.
