Ahoy there! I'm Commodore Jones, a DJ and writer with CHIRP Radio. Music has always been the force that keeps me going, whether that be listening to it, writing about it, writing and performing it, or most importantly, sharing it with others. Once the Program Director of UIC Radio at my alma mater, I moved on to CHIRP to help keep the dream of real, local, human-programmed radio alive and open up another avenue to spread the word about the many excellent artists I admire. Beyond CHIRP, I also can be found at various venues in Chicago, out riding my bike around the West Side and reading books in the parks in the summer, or playing cards in a Ukrainian Village dive bar in the winter. Keep your eyes on the horizon, and I'll catch you on Sunday nights!
