Austin Harvey Thursdays, 12PM
Austin was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He escaped from the Buckeye State in 2000 to attend one of Chicago’s fine institutions of higher knowledge. After he’d learned too much about theatre, political science and the like, he decided he had not learned enough about music. So, he got involved with CHIRP. After numerous awful office jobs in the Loop, Austin has been working in the fledgling Chicago beer industry to decent effect. The thought of sharing airtime with actually-talented DJs is a daunting thought, but he thinks he can wing it well enough. Austin also sings, plays guitar and writes most of the songs for the fantastic (albeit unsigned) local band, Bainard Panic Defense. Please treat him kindly…
