Sara started as a CHIRP DJ doing the early bir 6-9AM shift and got pretty comfortable playing a lot of chilled out ambient tunes (think Brian Eno and Boards of Canada) easing everyone into the idea of waking up - Hey man, mornings are hard. She's since shifted to the afternoon, every Wednesday from 12-3PM, and has kicked it up some. Sara tends toward the experimental whether that's jazz, math rock, noise, electronic, etc. doesn't really matter, she enjoys building sets that you wouldn't necessarily think should go together. In addition there are often puns, bizarre news stories, self-deprecating one-offs, and a borderline unhealthy fascination with the weather (typical for most Chicagoans, no?). In short, things can get a bit weird sometimes, but fun weird.
