The Logan Square Arts Festival returns to its classic setting around the Illinois Centennial Monument on Logan Square for its tenth installment this June 22–24. The festival celebrates the creativity, diversity, and vitality of the neighborhood and features live music on two stages, art installations, artisan vendors, beer from Logan Square’s own Revolution Brewing, and cocktails from The Whistler. A portion of every gate donation will once again benefit Logan Square Preservation’s efforts to preserve important landmarks and beautify the neighborhood.
This year’s diverse music lineup features infectious dance-punk group !!! (pronounced Chk Chk Chk);critically-acclaimed D.C. punk band Priests; up-and-coming hip hop producer and Chance the Rapper collaborator oddCouple; psychedelic dance-pop from Ssion; and Detroit indie rock siblings Flint Eastwood. More artists will be announced on May 21 with a total of 25 bands scheduled to perform over the festival weekend.
