Reckless Records is a group of three record stores in Chicago IL. We carry new & used CDs, DVDs games and loads of Vinyl. Originally started in London, our first Chicago location opened in 1989. (LPs & 7"s). We would love to have you visit us in person. We are always looking to buy your unwanted CDs, DVDs, and vinyl. Please get in touch if you are interested in selling your collections. We buy at all locations every day up to an hour before closing time.

Montreal's THE DEARS are back in 2006 with another collection of intricate pop songs. The aspect of THE DEARS that will probably jump out at you first is the sound of Murray Lightburn's voice. Comparisons to MORRISSEY are easy to make but only because it's the closest reference point. Their music seems to include influences of 80'S & 90'S Brit-pop bands such as THE SMITHS, RIDE & STONE ROSES with some similarities to contemporaries such as hometown friends BROKEN SOCIAL SCENE & little bit of SPOON.
