"White Death" is an incredible look at the new material Fielded has been working on since her "Terrageist" LP on Catholic Tapes. Fielded is a complicated structure. The foundation of Lindsay Powell's (Ga'an, Festival) music is a type of digital, ambience for black masses with flourishes and influences akin to Klaus Schulz's synth work, Kate Bush's mystical yet narrative lyrical content, and an inside-out language only spoken by cave dwelling creatures - a variety of which we are not yet familiar. This is music best served with pentagram configured candles, sage, while seated near your pagan altar. --- White vinyl copies were originally for mail-order only but we have a few. Really cool reissue of this early 80's synth driven death rock from the L.A. artist known as JIMMY SMACK. The music is minimal, kind of like SUICIDE but the lyrics are heavy & depressing, sort of like CHRISTIAN DEATH. His stage persona was sort of like a mix of Lux Interior & Glenn Danzig. If you're even remotely interested in death rock, goth, darker minimal synth stuff, CRAMPS, MISFITS, SUICIDES, early HUMAN LEAGUE, CHRISTIAN DEATH etc... then you need this!
