This girl loves all types of music- Opera, Country and Metal included. Ayme has a huge collection of rare country and blues LP's which she likes to break out on her show every now and then. Superfrye is also a musician who plays in a band of the same name. You can catch her around town playing her brand of slow burning, flamenco, blues and surf infused Rock & Roll. She hosts an open mic at every other Wednesday at Artifact Events. In recent years she has been an intern at both the Experimental Sound Studio and Chicago Public Radio where she produced short stories for vocalo.org. Her sound pieces can be found at soundcloud.com/superfrye. She has studied music with Hamid Drake, Kelan Phil Cohran, Rockin Johnny Burgin and Thomas De Utrera. Although Ayme has spent a good percentage of her life traveling around these United States and other countries, including Japan, Costa Rica, and Spain, she is proud to be a Chicago native. She says that she is currently enjoying the adventure of staying in one place and building something. Ayme has been back in Chicago since 2008 and lives with her two kittens Io and Callisto.
