Emily Agustin Tuesdays, 6PM
An obsessive record collector and music nerd, Emily has been involved with local community radio for nearly ten years. A very serious scholar, she wrote her master’s thesis about chicks in rock and roll, and she occasionally lectures publicly about the history of women in music. (Check out some of her writing at the Women on Women blog.) Also a very serious musician, she puts her classical training to good use playing drums in the Maybenauts, and she can sometimes be seen dancing around the Redmoon stage with a cymbal on her head. She likes 60s bubblegum pop, Japanese noise bands and long walks on the beach.
