Jocelyn Geboy Fridays, 12PM
Radio has always been an important part of the soundtrack to Jocelyn Geboy’s life. Growing up, she would watch her father doing chores on the weekend; radios in the garage, the kitchen, the basement and one faced to the backyard — all tuned to the same station — so he could have music wherever he went. She spent countless hours waiting for her latest “favorite song” to come on so she could tape it for future repeated listens. There were the miles and miles driven with friends, having the conversations that made up memories to last a lifetime… the radio being the constant soundtrack that told the stories they didn’t know how to tell. College was where she was introduced to being on the air for the first time, and to all the music she didn’t know she was missing in life. She’s the Events Director for CHIRP, and she can’t tell you how thrilled she is to be back in the business of bringing radio to life again.
