A tribute to her father and his experiences as a black man in 20th century America, this should appeal to fans of YAYA BEY, PEGGY GOU and AVALON EMERSON. RECOMMENDED.

Astounding debut album from percussionist SARATHY KORWAR melds jazz with electronics & the traditional folk music of the Sidi community in India to glorious results. This isn't always easy listening, but we like a challenge. RECOMMENDED.
