As far as a perfectly balanced rock album, you cannot go far wrong with this or Bad Co's 1974 self titled album

Just think about how different it would have been if LZ III, IV, and Houses of The Holy were double albums -- They could have been as almost all of the tracks on Physical Graffiti were originally intended for those earlier albums. This very well could be the finest moment in LZ albums. It's got everything you could ask for. Plus the die-cut cover with the match-up inner sleeve is pretty damn sweet. You can visit this building today in NYC still!

for me, "COP" by SWANS still stands head and shoulders above most of the most brutal music ever produced, the loudest, slowest & most violent rock album ever made perhaps.
