Much needed reissue of this MIRAH gem finally back in print for the first time since 2002. Here's what we had to say about it back when it came out: Perhaps one should not take the love of Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn lightly. Some clear sincerity could only be responsable for songs so perfect. It's hard to imagine there was anything to improve upon her album "you think it's like this...". Keen folk plucking turns to electric sludge thats smoothly removed by "pet sounds" orchestra- tion. Not to soften the dirty disposition of some of her lyrics. However, her voice might be one of the most comforting of audible sounds. With the finest of arrangements, be them full string and horn sections or simply a fuzzy tap on a mic. With a flare for forlorn gypsy ballads, accordians and fiddles play out. Joined by members of MICROPHONES, OLD TIME RELIJUN, GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY OF THE VOLCANO and The LOVE OF EVERYTHING. This is one of the most incredible albums you might hear. Very very very very very RECOMMENDED!
