The 1960's Greenwhich Village folk scene spawned many important artists that are household names to us now. Artists such as BOB DYLAN, SIMON & GARFUNKEL, FRED NEIL, TIM HARDIN, PHIL OCHS...aghh we could go on for hours. One name that has slipped through the cracks over the years is Karen Dalton. Dalton played a 12 string acoustic & a long-neck banjo & possessed a voice that entranced most everyone that heard it. Her bluesy singing style is oftened compared to Billie Holiday & it's a valid comparison. This 7" features the first song from her second album "In My Own Time" plus an alternate mix of the song "Katie Cruel." Back in the 70's The FALL released their first album on two different labels in two different countries. They had two different covers and two two different track listings. The difference this time around is the US version has more songs. However, the UK version still has a track thats not on the US and the mixes on the 2nd half of the record are alternate. Confused? Well just relax cause no matter waht country this "Real new Fall LP" comes from it's amazing.
