CHIRP's Katie Owens met up with Chris & Brent Z. of Chicago rock duo, Slushy at Heavenly Gelato in Logan Square in celebration of Labor Day. Over mint chocolate chip ice cream & espresso gelato, they talked about Slushy's economy; Mishawaka, IN; Burger Records; and good/bad jokes. Slushy plays The Owl on Sept. 26 before one half of the duo heads to Seattle.
