The name of Sara's show is Must be Nice Outside, because Sara spends most of her time in the midst of disaster, literally. As a Planning Specialist for the American Red Cross, disaster relief work never really stops. She gets deployed to other states on a regular basis to manage response work, which is why if she is lucky enough to be in the studio at CHIRP Radio, well, it really must be nice outside. CHIRP is Sara's favorite part of the week, for three hours she gets to focus solely on music, play all the stuff she loves, and learn about new bands that listeners request. If you tune in you'll hear mostly newer stuff, definitely some Chicago free jazz, anything experimental or ambient, hip-hop, and some ridiculous sing-along pop music (quite probably French). It's a nutty, eclectic time, a little weird maybe, but she really is having a blast. Tune in. Make requests.
